Anyone willing to speculate on relative airfares NY 2017?

DD and I are in midst of preliminary planning for a trip to WDW first week of January 2017, arriving either Sunday Jan. 1 or Monday Jan. 2. Since Monday will be a holiday for many people, do y'all think airfares might be lower on Sunday than Monday, about the same, or what? For what it's worth, looks like kids will be going back to school on Wednesday 1/4 around here. We know all is speculation at this point!

Only if you tell me the Powerball numbers for then. There's no way to predict airfares that far in the future. I would just look at what they are now and add 20% to be safe. But it's just, at best, a guess.

Sorry, I wasn't clear originally. I mean, anyone have ideas re whether airfare on NY Day will be lower than, higher than or the same as airfare on Monday 1/2/17?

The legacy airlines schedules are loaded 330 days in the future. So by February 9th, you'll be able to get a general idea of starting prices.
