Anyone who has worn a pedometer, how many miles clocked in a park day?

We were there last year in December. My husband and I are fit, early 30s with no kids. We left our hotel at 6, got breakfast, rope drop at MK, hit the other 3 parks and mk as it was open late. We went got back to the hotel around 1am and we did over 30k.consider also that we walked from our car to the monorail, twice, plus the lots on the other parks. Otherwise we average around 15k a day. I have a jawbone this year, which at times I think is more accurate then my old standard pedometer. I am interested to see how many steps we get this time !

We average 9-14 miles per day. We usually don't get up until later in the morning, eat breakfast around 9 am and hit the parks around 10-10:30; we spend 1.5-2 hours at dinner and sometimes long lunches but we still manage to do at least 9 miles. The days we do EMH late at night are the days we do 14 miles.

generally 17 miles per day, we like to loop the park and hop a lot. We are really diligent to put in when we're on transportation and fast rides so it doesn't skew. Without adjustments it was reading about 21 miles.

During a 5 day trip in May I averaged 12.5 miles per day. At DLR.

our best tally was 24.5 miles - but that was a 4 park day, leaving the hotel at 0700 and crashing back at the hotel at 0300 after magic hours at the MK. It was fun though. :tiptoe:on average now we don't have to criss cross the parks grabbing fast passes the iPhone tells me we do around 12 miles a day.

and thats why I can eat like a pig at WDW and return home the same size as when i arrived :bounce:

Does anyone know if the pedometer apps on phones include ride motion as "steps"? We did RD to about 7pm at MK and kept crisscrossing the park and logged 20,000 steps, which I could possibly believe. But then we did RD to 4:00pm at EP, where we only did Future World and minimal cross-crossing and logged the same thing. It seemed off.

my iphone doesn't, but on the app I use you can see on a map where your journey takes you and can edit if need be. for example, it thought that Peter Pan was me taking a cycle ride, but I adjusted for Transportation. Transportation is how most of them show up, possibly as you just can't move that fast using your feet.

12-16 miles based on which park. We were the second to last room on the kudu trail at AKL! Long halls!!! Lol

:scared: I'm gonna need comfy shoes..... Never knew it was so many makes DLP seem tiny!

Fitibt had me at about 8-10 for each day i was in DisneyLAND. Going to wdw in just over a week and im curious to see the difference (if there is much of one).

3 miles for a low, must have been Hollywood Studios and 7 miles for a high, but have been Epcot. Gotta remember to shut it off when on rides as it really racks up miles that you did not actually walk from the movement. With mine I had to program in my stride length over several test courses.
