Anyone who has visited in August

Ok, I know this sounds like a silly question. We're going the last two weeks, what type of clothes have you packed. Sweatshirt? Pants? I always over pack and because we are going for two weeks will need to do laundry, but don't want to pack things that we really won't need. I'm assuming capri pants for myself and the kids, but will they every wear pants/jeans, do you need a sweatshirt at night, or just some type of rain jacket/spring jacket for the showers during the day.

We went last August and we always wore shorts and tops. Never took the pants out or the sweatshirts. We did need our rain ponchos for the afternoon/evening showers, but other than that - it was wonderful. We went for 7 days and took 4 outfits...did laundry one evening. That way, less to pack! Enjoy your vacation.

I used a light sweater in some of the restaurants. But shorts and tank tops are the norm for that time. We love to go the last 2 weeks in August. The crowds are pretty low then.
