Anyone who has been to China question about internal flights

Dear Previous China travelers,
I know there are lots of internal flights. Are many of them longer than two hours? Is there any type of entertainment on the planes? Just trying to pack as light as possible, but not a good plane sleeper.

I don't remember how long they were, but I'm pretty sure none of them were long enough that you'd need to sleep on them. They were all during the day, and I *think* most of them were only a couple of hours if that. The only ones you might want want to sleep on are during the Xi'an marathon day. There wasn't any entertainment.

Hi there, I would estimate most of the flights were 1 1/2 hrs to less than 3 hours long. If I could do it over again, I would pack a few books, because in China they were pretty strict about making you turn off headphones and devices during takeoff and about 30 min before landing. We were often looking for something to do besides our electronics, and my teenagers were particularly annoyed by these policies (but somehow they lived...haha). I brought one book, but read it on the flight to China from the states. Wish I would've packed a few more.

Regarding in-flight entertainment on the planes, it seemed as though it was all in Mandarin if I'm remembering correctly, so I didn't use it at all.
