Anyone wear the Payless croc sandals??

As an update - tried the airwalk moc-beach/cayman throughout the day yesterday; was expecting the same great results as the moc-athen flip flops.

Sorry to report that they don't feel anything at all like Crocs do after several hours. I had the same pain in my feet that I'd experience when wearing dress shoes...especially this a.m. Disappointing, did like how the foot bed didn't have such pronounced numbs on them. Guess I'll relegate them to slipper status.

They may be suitable for normal wear but, if you have medical issues w/your feet; I'd stick to the real thing.

I too bought airwalkers from Payless for $14.99 and 2nd pair at half off, I love them rest of family thinks they are ugly. We'll see when my feet are comfy and theirs hurt!I do plan on taking other shoes and sneakers though just for variety but think I'll have my crocs acessible at all times. I too heard that Payless' s are better than crocs.

I have fallen arches, get heel spurs, and have had 2 knee surgeries, and I wear the Airwalks 8-10 hours a day on cement floors. They hold up to pressure well.

I have a pair of regular clog type AirWalks. They are comfy, tho they do seem to make my feet sweat. Haven't worn them to Dis, but have walked on the treadmill in them. Light and soft.

I also just bought a pair of real CROC thong flip flops. I really like them. I noticed that they don't 'flop' when I walk...I really hate the loud sound, especially walking down the lOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG corridors at BWV! :rotfl:

Because they are open, these are my footwear of choice. Will definitely be taking them to the World in September! Scandalous price, but my feet are worth it!

BTW, I didn't really like the clog type Crocs the first time I tried them on. I think the sandal Crocs look almost nice, and i think my flip flops look great!

i only have a pair of crocs...but... I saw more people with the airwalk crocs last week at the parks then the "real" ones.

I got my first pair of Airwalks a few months ago after reading about them and Crocs on the boards. I wore them to (dont flame me!) Busch Gardens shortly after (maybe even a day or 2 after I got them) and had no problems at all! I have back issues and walked all day in the heat and didnt have a twinge. They seem cushier than regular Crocs. I did notice after about 3 months of wearing them around that the bottom tread started to wear out. So I got another pair! I did finally break down this week and order a pair of Crocs Niles online. Im waiting for them. I do find the Airwalks a little hot, so Im hoping the Niles will be as comfy. Will wear them this summer and hopefully take them in November on our vaca to WDW/.

Got the Niles and dont like them. Not terribly uncomfortable but they look like prison shower shoes. Not as comfortable as my Aircrocs at all. So got another pair of Payless---- and cut off the toes! Now they are like Niles---but comfortable!

i bought a pair friday and tested them out on the treadmill last night in prep for WDW. they did fairly well (considering i hadn't broken them in yet). i think i'll rather enjoy them. has anyone noticed creases forming early? i go through shoes like whoa, and yesterday saw a crease while wearing them - wasn't sure if they were breaking already (hope not!) or that's normal (i worry easily, you might notice).

My daughter (7) and wife (I'll never tell - I'm not as dumb as I look) got several pairs of airwalks this weekend.
My DD's are causing hot spots on the sides where the rivets are.
A question for all of you "ugly shoe experts", is this a problem with sizing, a defective shoe, or maybe her foot just isn't airwalk compatible.

Your insight is appreciated.

Personally, I really LOVE my Airwald clog type shoes (like Crocs Beach), but I definately prefer my Crocs Athens over the Airwalks version that I tried on at Payless. They just did not fit me right. Believe me, I wish they did, I'd love to be able to get some for half of the Crocs price. Oh well.

After reading this thread yesterday I went to Payless and bought a pair of the Aircrocs, cute colors blue/pink/yellow all swirled together. The Aircrocs must fit a little narrower than the Crocs and that is just what I wanted, my feet swam in the Crocs I tried on.
So far they are very comfortable, I suffer from alot of heel pain and can already feel a difference.
I wanted the red/white and blue ones but they did not have my size, after wearing the ones I bought I think I will be off to a different payless and see if I can find them, my son tried mine on and he wants some too. Hopefull payless is running the buy one/get onehalf off. I went to payless in a Shopko store and they did not offer that....
Wonder if I can get my DH into a pair? Do you all see alot of men wearing them?
Thanks to all who posted otherwise I would not have gotten them and my feet would still hurt!

Bev

Thanks to you people i went and finally got some. I went to pay-less got the velcro ones and for DH i got the clog both in blue. I dont know if DH will like his but i have to say i like mine. I did go and tried the crocs first and i like the velcro airwaks way better. I think I will have to use mine with sock but thanks A LOT!! :badpc: ...i should stay off the net and work and maybe i would not spend money on my upcoming trip... :badpc:

I was so ready to go and spend the money on crocs, and then I see this thread....what's a girl to do :confused3

While I vowed never to step foot into these shoes I recently acquired a PT job that will have me standing for 4-6 hours at a time & requires closed toe black shoes...

So off to Payless I go to buy a pair... not one pair in the entire store, not in any size! So I had to order them off of Payless.com. I ended up paying a bit more with shipping, but at least I found a $2 off coupon & went through Mypoints... we shall see!!!

Picked up a pair of black Airwalk "Connect" today at Payless for $14.99. They didn't have any Airwalks to fit my DD11 but they said check back Tue. or Wed.

They sure are comfortable!
