I used a knee brace about a decade ago when I was just starting to have health problems, but I dont know how much it will help since it seems your problems are rather systemic. But I suppose it is always worth a shot!
i was thinking that too as i have so many chronic issues. it will be good if it helps with the one knee though. if the insurance will pay for it, they will check on that this week, then i'll give it a go. anything is worth trying to reduce chronic pain.

Oh even if it reduces your pain by 5%, that is still less pain!!! I just dont know how much it will help your overall ability to do Disney. But definitely give it a shot!

A few years ago I had knee surgery and for some time after that my knee was weak and would hurt a lot after walking. Several times when I went to WDW I wore one of the pull-on elastic braces with hole for the kneecap and the metal bars down the sides. It really helped because it stabilized my knee. I would not have been able to walk all day without it.

I had my ACL in my knee reconstructed and wear my custom brace when we visit, the brace I have is so comfortable and light that I barely notice I am wearing it. I just have to stop every so often to adjust the straps.
I wish they would do the knee surgery on me but they say I am too young from a standpoint of having my knees replaced. I wonder if my brace will be like the one you are describing.
I have a lot of other issues such as a spinal cord issue and realized after the moderator posted on this thread that I was just "wishing" I could walk thru the park again but my problems are more widespread then just my knee.

I've been in bilateral knees, among others, for years. Depending on the ride, you might have issues, but not likely. Prepare to sweat a lot underneath them, even if it's not hot out.

No, I don't wear immobilizers during the day. I sleep in them though! Mine are to prevent hyperextension, which is most severe in my knees, wrists, and fingers, so those joints are always braced. I would not attempt disney in an immobilizer.

My knee brace and back brace arrived in the mail today. I thought they would have been sent to the spine/pain mgmt center but they were sent to my home. the darn knee brace keeps falling down my leg. obviously, i am not putting it on tight enough. aargh.
