Sad on both counts. 12 miners are dead and FSU lost. First piece of news far sadder than second.

I do agree we have classy coaches. I know that extra point would come back to haunt us though. That was our first missed extra point after 121 field goal attempts. What a shame. Would not have tied and OT if we had made it.

We watched. Both DH and I are college football fans. Although neither of us have any connections to Penn State or FSU, we wanted to see two great, legendary coaches in a head-to-head contest.


What a horrific night for BOTH place kickers! And ironic that it was the kicker who finally made a field goal that FINALLY won the game.

Interestingly, our high school state championship team has a kicker who made a 50-yarder in the final game this year!



Great game, sad that one team had to lose it. Now, on the the ROSE BOWL and the BCS Championship!!!
