It was amazing. We sure lost some major talent this year. I have been so bummed about John Ritter... every time I watch the tribuites (the special and the Emmy's tribute) I just cry. I have always loved John Ritter and I'm so saddened by his passing. As someone else said... it seems like I lost a friend.

Wanda's first set had some good points, but her last 2 sets were pretty bad. It was like she was on her own, but she handed out awards to the loosers and made a comment to Kim Cattrell about the mom winning from Raymond. "Kim covered her ears like she didn't want any part of it."

I liked Ellen D. she was funny, which is pretty rare these days. She needs a makeover, her pants suits are to baggy and getting tiresome, doesn't she wear anything else?

My favorite part of these shows is the memorial clips for the actors/actresses we've lost. I always forget one or two from the year, like Nell Carter and Gregory Peck...love to see the clips!

I think I'm the only one who didn't care for George Lopez' bit. Some of it was funny, but much of it was making fun of certain ethic groups (white, hispanic...etc) and I never find this humor appropriate. I kept thinking if this were a white person saying any of this, that white person would get lambasted by everyone. I think other people were surprised too, because every time the camera panned the audience during that bit no one was laughing.

Wanda SUCKED and SO did George Lopez! I missed the first Hour, but I guess I didn't miss much, as ALL the ones I wanted to win did....except for Keifer Sutherland and Jennifer Gardner! "Door to Door" racked UP! I was SOOO glad as I LOVE Bill Macy he is SUCH a talent! I am SICK of Soprano's Winning everytime! Debra was a Doll, and she has such great taste in clothes. Tony Shaloub winning was exciting also, but he seemed nervous, and in mourning for his nephew.

I wasn't very fond of Wanda either. I think they should have had either Ellen or Conan host instead.

I was happy to see Debra Messing win as well as West Wing for best Drama. I kinda figured Edie Falco would win, she seemed to be the favorite. (I wanted Allison Janney to win). All in all it was a pretty good show except I think it would have been better with just 1 host.
