Anyone watching How to be a Size Zero Tonight

my colleague and her friend went for a colonic a couple of years ago - Karen enjoyed it! but her friend felt really queasy after and very light headed!

Ladies ladies - way tooooooo much information :rotfl2:

I think i'll stick to my milky coffee, choc digestives and sit down to watch poor already skinny louise suffer to get some air time.

celebs checking into a private hospital for a couple of weeks of mild sedation and a glucose drip - now that's gotta help the weightloss... :crazy2:

Ooooh I wonder how much that costs?! It sounds perfect, you get loads of rest and when you wake up you are thin!! My kind of diet!

Hi Netty,
I know exactly what you mean!! DD is about 5ft 6 and has been an American size 0.... but thankfully is now a US 2/4. She'll be 21 in December. She too takes after DH.... very long legs! I'm 5ft nothing!! As you can see!!
Please excuse DS's red socks.... he burnt his feet!!!

she's a stunning girl, you should be very proud, I'd say you should encourage her to do some modelling but I guess you know best whether she could cope with it without becoming hung up about her image

OMG! isn't that torture? surely we won the bloody war so people wouldn't have to starve to death in this country?

What a lovely girl! my dd has a terrible time in school as the other girls - i think are jealous of her slimness. they comment on and how slim she is, oh and also on the colour of her hair. This is her final year there, but shes hoping to go on to 6th form...
I unfortunetly missed the programme :sad2: I had a phone call from a work colleague, does anyone know whether its being repeated?

There's nothing listed in the next two weeks Netty. :sad1:

she was only 7stone 10 to start - hardly heifers-ville! and she lost her breasts (my worst nightmare)

I cant believe girls put themselves through that. That poor girls with the eating disorders. The youngest is only 4 years older than my Molly. It must be heartbreaking as a mother to watch that. I cant see that society will change though - magazines sell with pictures of celebrities that are thin/fat and my daughter is going to grow up reading these:scared1:

The start of the show really p***ed me off! The way she kept describing herslf as curvy, hello you weigh 7st 10lbs!! That is not curvy! She started with a BMI of 19 and then when it went down to 18 they said she was dangerously underweight! The average woman in this country is a size 14/16 and yet the programme made out that at a size 8 she was average. :furious:

Ladies please!!

Nobody likes a size zero anyway. Curves are much better than sticky-out ribs and hips.

If god had intended you to be size 8 and under he wouldn't have invented cinnabon.:cake:

I totally agree Jen, I was horrified when she described herself as curvy and that she was average. When I asked my DD's what they thought an averaged sized UK woman was, they said a size 10/12 - we don't stand a chance really:sad2:

i think the programme would have been inspring rather than off putting to young girls
