Anyone watch the live Diagon Alley webcast?

I can't wait!!!

The train looked so much cooker than I expected, the Leaky Cauldron looked awesome, and the new Gringotts ride looks like so much fun! It looked like a roller coaster, so probably more scary than FJ.

I'm going this fall.

I watched the webcast, missed like the first 10 mins. or so as I forgot it was on today. It looks amazing! I was never a huge fan of Harry Potter, I liked it but only saw like 3 of the movies and never read the books at all, but I am really excited for this, I have a season pass so I'll be over in Orlando alot, it's only about a 100 mile drive for me.

Love the new area, can't wait to go back in Oct.

I am nervous about the Hogsmead Express ride and the waits to go back and forth. The train looks awesome, but small. I hope it holds more people than I think it will.

I'm not a fan of Harry Potter, but jeez, watching the webcast I felt embarrassed for Disney that their "answer" to this has been new Fantasyland.

I don't think Disney feels in the least bit threatened by Diagon Alley. It will be interesting to see the attendance numbers in 5 years and see the changes.

Just received our tickets today for our upcoming trip in Oct. We can't wait to see Diagon Alley and everything else the parks have to offer .

I don't know. I think Disney is just so cheap lately, and more importantly, out of touch with the guests, this is the best they could come up with.

Before Avatarland or maybe even the new Seven Dwarfs coaster opens, Universal has a lot more expansion plans up their sleeves...if you believe the rumors. Disney has enough to worry about with the FP+ disaster and the billions they spent on it and My Tragic Plus and the Tragic Bands. I wonder how many people will stay away because of it?

I agree with a lot of this thread. WDW should be embarrassed. WWOHP opened in 2010. WDW's answer was to flatten ToonTown and start the FLE.

I went to USO in 2012 and saw the flattened Jaws area. Since then they have built Transformers and Simpsons area. Now in 2014 we get Diagon Alley.

And FLE still does not have a headliner. Sad, really.

I am holding off visiting the motherland until the whole MM+ and FP+ can get to a state of consistency. Until then, USO here we come.
