Anyone want to rent us some points for 2008?

Hi. We're at the very early stages of planning a trip in late April/early May 2008. There are a million things to organise before we know exact dates, but we wondered if anyone would be willing to rent us enough points for a basic room (only two of us, no kids) at the Boardwalk? We did this last year, thanks to a friend who had spare points, but they need them all next year.

We would be more than happy to rent you at the going rate for 2008 points (which if you check out the us boards is about £5 a point). However we have Saratoga points and would only be available at 7 months which may be too late for you. Keep us in mind if you don't find anyone.

Actually after reading your post again and doing some maths we are nearly at the seven month window for late April. PM me with your dates and I can check availability for you.

I don't want to worry you but you will need to get a move on if you want to stand a chance of getting in at BWV - from what I've been reading, there is very little availability for April/May next year

I have been struggling to get the dates I need at BWV (albeit in a 2-bed).

I hope you manage to get what you need.

Thanks everyone. Sue, we're near Manchester. I'm not sure of the dates yet, as we're waiting for prices on flights at the moment, and then we need to organise some family stuff.. but we're working on it and should know in a few days.

Wilma - thanks for the heads up on the availability... it'd be ironic if we could hire points but not get the resort! However, there may be other resorts we'd consider, so we'll play it by ear.

Mike if friends we were thinking of going with decide they can't make it and we don't have enough leave for a second visit later in the year then we may have some points left, about 150 at a guess. But we wont know until about December.
