Anyone want to do dinner at AKL...

...on Sunday (the 25th)?

I was just thinking that since we don't seem to have any big DIS activities in Animal Kingdom, AND since some of us would be there a few days before, that we could have a mini meet at AKL for some dinner.

It would be a great way to see the resort AND meet some DIS'ers.

I imagine we would need to have a preliminary list going so when we were able to make those PS ressies we would know how many to make it for.

So what do you say?

Yikes!

I thought Whispering Canyon was on the 27th! I thought the Convention Meet and Greet was on the 28th! I have to change my itinerary already... only eight months to go... I am sure there will be a hundred more revisions before then!

KarenNY ~ That sounds good! It is a tentative plan for now and so far there will be four of us I think. WhoSEZMN and her travelling buddy will probably join us as well. If it conflicts with any DISCON events we might have to reschedule. I'll be in touch though!

I must admit I'm getting a little confused about all the meals and events being discussed. I'm anxiously looking forward to an official itinerary, and then I guess, I'll have to see what fits or not!

Hi Barb!

That sounds great... of course I can stand you for another meal! *giggles* We do have to set the night for the Akershus mini meet (or should I say fish!). I was hoping to do it on the 26th but since you are arriving on the 27th that would be hard! We can't do it the 27th becuase we've got Whispering Canyon... I'm avoiding the four convention nights until I see the itinerary. I know at least three of thise nights will be taken up with DISCON events but there might be one free! If so we could do it that night but if not the only other possibility would be... once again... December 2nd! We'd have to do both in one day Barb! I could handle it I think! You? We can nail it down once we get the itinerary though.

As for Boma breakfast on the 2nd I'd love to meet up with you, Barb and Snowwark! Okay... so now we are six I think. Hmmm, have I acidentally organized a meet? *laughs* Only concern I have is with the $10.00 deposit each but we can work that all out closer to the date.

I'm all excited again!

All these extra "mini-meets" sound wonderful. Taryn, I'm so glad you want to do this, we'll have a great time. I can do breakfast and dinner in one day! How many times do we get to do something like this? I say-GO FOR IT!! I also think we need to see some sort of itinerary, so we don't double book ourselves. I think it will get easier as we get closer. I have also been thinking of trying to fly in earlier. I have that in the back of my mind, and that, too, will become more apparent as we get closer. I'll just need to find out if I can add (or change)days to my convention reservation. .
