Anyone want Skylanders before I return them?

Well, after a month's hunt we finally accumulated Skylanders and now I have a few too many. Actually, we bought extras for friends who did not need some of the characters.

So, before I return these - I thought I would offer them up to anyone here who is looking for them. Same price I paid and still sealed of course. Some cost $9.99 and some $9.83 (future shop & wal-mart) plus tax.

1 Cynder - death group
2 Drobot - mechanics group
1 Bash - earth group? (mountain symbol)
1 Stump Smash - life group? (leaf symbol)

I'm in Bowmanville.

My son woke me up at 6:15 (groan) and as I lay in bed, trying to fall back asleep, it occured to me that my OP could be construed as "selling". Which I did not think of last night.

So, like any good little DIS'er I trotted down to the stairs to the computer to write an additional note. (Ok, I could not fall asleep again, darn it!)

Anyways, the offer stands for now. If a mod feels this does fall into selling category, by all means remove the thread. It's a gray area to me. In my head, selling means making a profit. MY OP makes it clear I am not making a profit. Since these Skylanders have been hard to find, I merely thought it would be nice to offer a DISer the opportunity to get one (with the reimbursment of the same price I paid) before returning them to the stores.

On a side note, why do kids have to wake up so darn early on a holiday/weekend when you can barely drag them out of bed on a school day?? :headache:
I was so looking forward to sleeping in... :sad2:

I appreciate your post ... these things are difficult to find and i understand why you post this. If we lived closer we could be interested ..... I think we have 22 so far ...

They are hard to find. DS8 and DS5 are so into them. My mom friend's and I have bought for each other's children when we find them. We have those those though. Dh and I check anytime we're in Walmart or Target to see if there's any new ones and I put them up for things like their Easter baskets. At $10 they pack a lot of excitement in the gift department! I figure they're less expensive than a new game.
