How long does it take to get from DLH to SNA (airport)? Trying to finalize the itinerary so we can book ps's tom. Thanks! We will be taking the shuttle to the airport.

Should not take longer than 30 minutes -- probably around 20-25 minutes. Could depend on the timing and rush hour traffic. We travelled on Saturdays.

Yay, our flight does not leave until 12:30, so we should be able to fit in a Goofy's Kitchen breakfast on our last morning!

Please be aware...if you're taking the shuttle, they will pick you up about 2 1/2 hour before your flight time, even though it's only a 20-30 minute ride to the airport. You have to remember there may be several other stops before or after you. That has been my experience with Super Shuttle and ABC shuttle. Could cut into your breakfast time! Sorry for the bad news.

You could still do it tho. Where are you staying? You could take a cab over to the DLH, Bell services will hold your luggage. Just amke arrangements for Shuttle to pick you up at DLH. If you have a 8:00-8:30, you should be fine. We've done this before at Lilos on a travel day

Or do all that and take a cab to the airport. For $40-45 you can have a private ride and leave when you're ready.

… our flight does not leave until 12:30 …

Just wanted to share my experience earlier this month:

I had a flight leaving SNA on a Wednesday at 12:30 PM, and Super Shuttle scheduled me for a pickup at the GCH between 10:10 and 10:25 AM (they always give you a 15-minute window because they could be delayed due to traffic, etc.).

The driver was actually about 10-15 minutes early (as evidenced by the 2 automated calls I got on my cell phone from the time Bell Services picked up my luggage and we were heading down in the elevator). Anyway, the shuttle left the GCH on time, and we stopped at 4 or 5 other hotels for additional passengers on the way to the airport. If I remember correctly, the DLH and PPH stops were our last stops before heading to the airport.

I still arrived at the airport in plenty of time for my flight.

We actually do this too. Dh does not like the shuttles as he wants to get there as soon as possible. At the DLH, bell service can give you a flat rate coupon for the return ride to the airport if you ask :thumbsup2

I am so curious and confused about this as well. Our return flight is at 3:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon, with Disney Express already paid for. What time should we leave PPH to make it there? I am seriously overwhelmed on the time frames!

Are you using the Disneyland Resort Express (operated by Gray Line)? From their website, it looks like they depart on the hour, but there's no detail about specific hotel pickup times. You can always call them at 714-978-8855 to get the details and their recommended pickup time.

hmmm, maybe a taxi would be the way to go. Do I need to schedule one ahead of time? And do you think my family of 5 and all of our luggage will fit in a taxi- are they mini van - size?

bumping for taxi info - thanks!

Yes, they have taxi vans that will take your whole family (same price as regular taxi car). Where are you staying? You can often have the hotel call for you. If you're staying onsite, use ballarinamom's suggestion and get a flat-rate coupon.
