Will be in Florida 6th to 30th August this year. Giving Disney a miss for first time and also spending a week at St Petes. Still leaves 2 weeks in Orlando. last year we went to Discovery Cove which we loved and will again this year so will get the SW ticket. We do like Seaworld but last year were there beginning of August and didnt get to go on Penguins, Turtles or the water ride (sorry forgotten all the proper names) So wondering if its actually any quieter at the end of August as we really dont mind when we go but would like to get on those 3 rides. Funny but my son could walk on Kraken as many times as he liked!
Thanks

Excellent, I just looked and for end of August QQ Unlimited only $19 so i think that will be a must for one of the days. I always thought it would be a lot more expensive than that. We love Journey to Atlantis (just looked up the name!) so would get our $19 worth on that alone. My son was brave enough to ride Manta last year on his own and I know he would love a few more go's.

I agree....for $19 pp, its a steal. Being able to walk on all the rides with no wait maximizes your day so much. We will be buying it for our days at the end of August too (we are there from the 17th to the 31st :) ).

Are you planning on visiting Aquatica as well? (since its included with your DC admission too?) Its awesome and well worth a day (or two! :goodvibes ) .

Once you have decided on your DC day, be sure to visit our Roll Call thread so I can add you to the list!

I will definitely add our names when we have our dates. We hope to arrive in Orlando on 6th August. Then drive to St Petes either 7th or 8th and stay at Tradewinds for 7 nights. Then back to Wyndham Bonnet Creek until 30th August. As the DC tickets will last 14 days we are thinking of having the first day at Busch on 12th which is my sons 14th birthday, that way our tickets will last till 25th, which will give us plenty of time to go to the other 3 parks. Although this will be our 11th trips, its just as exciting as all the others.

Does the quick queue include the kids rides? It's a bit confusing on the website. I can't decide if the list on the left is part of the quick queue or is just a strategically placed webpart to make you think all kids rides are included.

We were there the last week in August last year. Almost every ride was a walk-on, except for Antarctica which was a colossal disappointment. It was a great time to go!

Unfortunately, no. Here's the info from the website which lists the rides that participate in QQ:

Don't waste any time during your visit to SeaWorld. With Quick Queue Unlimited, you can skip the regular lines and enjoy front-of-the-line access at our most popular attractions as many times as you want – all day long! You could save hours of waiting time for the following attractions:

Manta®
Kraken®
Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin®
Journey to Atlantis®
TurtleTrek®
Sky Tower
Wild Arctic®

It's under the "Details" section located about half way down the page on this link:

The list on the left is a summary of all the rides in the park.

Ooooh....that is so good to hear! We are planning on spending the $$s to get Quick Queue but would love it if that's not needed! :)
