Anyone visit Fantasy of Flight

Has anyone visited Fantasy of Flight before in Polk City?

If you have, what do you think of it?

Yes, we've been there twice. It was really convenient when we flew in to Tampa each time and we stopped there on our way to WDW. We went to the attraction the first time and spent a couple of enjoyable hours there. Now, my DH is an aerospace engineer and one of my DS's is really into airplanes too! But, it was interesting to me too!

Our second time there, we went just for the bi-plane flight and didn't do the touring. We also enjoyed that!

Let me know of any specific questions and I'll see what I can remember! We were there March 2008 for the tour, and July 2008 for the bi-plane flight.

Thanks for your reply. My 6 yr old is really into plans, so this seemed like a good place to visit before going to Disney. We will be flying into Orlando airport, arriving at noon.

How does the biplane ride work? Do you need to make advance reservations, or is it by first come first serve availability on that day? Their website says that children are allowed -- do you think it is appropriate (and safe) for a parent + 6yr old?
