anyone visit BCV recently?

I also smelled this smell in the villa section. At first I thought it might be cleaning stuff, but the more I smelled it, it seemed like maybe they were experimenting with the resort having an aroma like the AKL does. It did sort of smell beachy in a way.

sitchu2 and freediverdude.... interesting that you mentioned that smell. My mom mentioned something to me on our last vist to WDW, we decided to try the AKL. One thing she kept saying was that she didn't like the smell, she missed the smell at the Beach Club. Sooo.... we went over to Cape May for breakfast and I took a big whifff when we walked through the door (after we greeted Art of course). It just smelled like I had come home.... I am not sure what it was, kind of a combination of bleach and flowers. But it was definately a fresh clean smell and everytime I go "home" now the first thing I do is take a big whiff, I just love it.

Okay, you guys can all call me crazy now!

Last day at work for me!!!!!! We are taking I-95 south tommorrow am - 3:30 in the morning! A stay over in Fernandina Beach Fl then a short 3.5 hrs to DISNEY WORLD!!!!! Beach Club Villas. I will absorb it all and share my thoughts once I return to this desk......but until then.........WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Thanks Terry - we are leaving on Thursday pm...possibly Friday (10-3) in the morning. We have a full week (sat - sat) but will not be able to stay the whole time. We are leaving our young children (2 & 3) with "a gaggle of Aunts". It is our first trip away from the kids (anniversary celebration). We are excited and know we will miss the kids like crazy! We took them last year and that is when we decided to take this trip....to take care of "Mom and Dad".
Anyhow - come thursday 10-2.....we'll be heading home. Have a great time as well and we'll make sure we say hi to Art, the turtles and bunnies! - Steve
