Anyone used Thrifty???

Okay this is a little different question. I am the Business Manager/Bookkeeper for our school district. Our Board Members went last month to Orlando for NSBA meetings and we used Thrifty for their car. I had reserved on line and got an estimate of $151.30 for 4 days. When the credit card bill comes in this week the charge was for $654!!! I called to try and get answers to why so much difference and they would not talk to me as I did not sign the "slip" or pick up the car. Does anyone have any experiences with them or know how I might could get some answers???

You need to get a copy of the rental slip.

Sure sounds like someone got talked into a car upgrade, plenty of extra insurance, probably an extra driver fee and possibly a fee for a young driver.

UPdate: Our school superintendent was finally (after 2 days of trying) able to talk to a person and it is being investigating for us.
