Anyone used those things to keep insects away from babies in their strollers?

I saw this in the One Step Ahead catalogue and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it. I'd love to use it both at WDW and just while we were walking around the neighborhood in the evening. I have a shade that goes over the stroller to keep insects out, but I'd rather use this thing if it works as well. Anyone tried it?

I bought Bug-Me-Not repellant bands, and put one on the STROLLER, not the child. I put it on one of the front legs of the stroller, by the brace hinge.

These bands are quite strong. For adults, the instructions say to wear it on the wrist, but I find that makes my eyes water, so I wear it on my ankle, and it works just fine. Putting it on the leg of the stroller generated a nice little zone of protection for DS, he wasn't bitten that I could see.
