I was considering booking it for our return journey home. Im not sure whether its worth it or not - there are 6 of us and 1 child. I have just seen pics of the guest house on the airport website and its pretty small - does it get very busy? Or do you think we will be able to amuse ourselves whilst waiting for the flight home?

Thanks!

We used it on our last trip and I would recommend it. There are films on constantly, free internet access, free soft drinks and tea and coffee, snacks like pretzels, tortilla chips etc, somewhere to store your luggage etc. Each adult is entitled to a free glass of wine or beer. It was a nice way to relax before the flight. You're given wristbands so you can move back and forth from the Guest House. I think it's well worth doing. It was busyish but it's a big enough place to cope and it didn't seem too packed. Hope this helps.

We used it two years ago. It was ok, nothing special. There are only 3 computers for internet asses. The food and drink section was ok but food only mixed crisp things and hard cookies. The lounge had magazines and papers.

The luggage is just left in a small open section, not very secure.

It was worth the money, when we went to the duty free shops and found the airport packed, people filling every space no seats availiable. We quickly went back to the peace of the guest house.

It made a peaceful end to the holiday but if moneys tight I wouldnt bother.

We used it at Easter. Like the last person said, it isn't really anything special but if you have kids who love Playstation then it is worth every penny! It kept my youngest amused right up to the time to board. We didn't get a look in at the computers - people tend to hog them once they are on them. The snacks are nothing special, we tended to eat our own stuff, and coffee and tea is made with dried milk sachets rather than proper milk.

This place has comfy chairs and a place to sit to watch an up-to-date movie. Pirates of the Carribbean was playing when we were there (but we've already got it on DVD!).

All in all, it's a convenient way to leave your baggage (although the area is not secure) but we could have been just as comfortable for a couple of hours in the main airport - there is plenty of seating.

Used it last August & thought it great would def.use again. It suited all our family, DS 11 loved the playstations, DD 12 watched the films & DH & I read our books in the quiet area on lovely comfy settees.

It was very handy not having to carry handluggage around with us.

and it was 2 glasses of wine or beers.

It also had a playroom for younger children.

Another vote for the Guest House from me! :)

It was a haven of peace and quiet away from the main departure lounge and my two kids were kept more than occupied on the Play Stations. Like others have said, the 'food' and drink isn't desperately exciting but it was still worth the extra cost for me!

Astrid :)
