Are you able to save/buy the photos after the trip & how much are they? Going to Disney for the first time in July & have memory maker with my tickets - also what do you do if you don't have a magic band? Can you scan your ticket?
Hi @DaniB1234
Have you linked your reservation to the My Disney Experience website? You set up an account, link your reservation and from there you can begin to customise your magic bands and arrange your ADRs and Fast Passes.
Magic bands aren't posted to UK addresses, they will be ready for you at check-in at your resort hotel. If you don't customise your magic bands, grey ones will be waiting for you at the hotel.
Sorry should've said that I'm staying offsite & therfore don't have magic bands, but my tickets came with memory maker.
yeah I'm thinking that I'm gonna buy a magic band when I get there & link my tickets but the other people in my party will just have regular tickets. What about keeping the photos after the 30day period? Are they availble to purchase? If so how much roughly are they?Ah ok, not exactly sure about how the magic bands work for off site guests, but from doing some quick research, you can buy magic bands ($12.95 plus tax I believe) at the parks, and a cast member will then link your ticket to the magic band. If you don't want to buy magic bands, you can just scan your tickets.
You can still set-up an account on My Disney Experience, link your tickets and organise fast passes.
Yeah

Saw no one answered you fully.
You need to download any photos you want with in the 30 day period. After the 30 days they go poof and I believe Disney pretty much says so sorry too bad. So you just download all the photos to your computer.
With Magicbands it is up to you and your party but know some ride photos can only be claimed by having a magicband. The big ones are the video on Tower of Terror and videos and photos on 7DMT. Those autoload onto the magicband and have no tap points to claim them later.
Everything else if you can tap a Mickey head you are fine just using the tickets. The tickets will have passive RFID in them so any photopass photographer and any ride photo with a Mickey tap point can be claimed with just the ticket.
That's great thank you, I never normally bother with theme park photos but if there free then why not, is the video of tower of terror of the whole car? As theres only 2 of that will ride it so will the other member of my party be included in my video? Also I can see on the app that there are photopass locations i.e. the entrace to animal kingdom. How does this work? Do you just queue up, swipe your band/ticket & have your photo taken?
I haven't used free memory maker but we were planning on getting memory maker. How do you get the ulimate tickets
