Just wondering if anyone has used priceline to find good airfare latley?

I used them to purchase round trip tickets from Ohio to Vermont. My Mom had surgery and I went there for two weeks to help my sister out. Rates were from $279 to $349 from Columbus to Burlington and I got my ticket on PL for $188 + tax. I also got an e-mail for $5 off per night (up to 6 nights) on a hotel room for accepting their counter offer. I originally bid $150 then went to $175 and they offered me $188 and I took it. Maybe I could have gotten it for a little cheaper if I didn't take the counter offer but time was running out and I thought $188 was a good price. I'm hoping to get a good rate for Florida when we fly down in October. My dates were from March 17th and returning home on March 30th.
