About a month or so ago, someone here posted about their experience with Disney Personal Shopper and it wasn't very good. From what I remember (I recommend doing a search) the person had family who were going to be in the parks and it was a little girl's first time visiting WDW. So the person contacted Disney Personal Shopper to purchase some things and have them placed in the family's room for the little girl to find as a surprise. I'm thinking it was for a surprise event. Disney Personal Shopper took their money but didn't buy the item in time for it to be placed in the room. They eventually did but a few days later and after the surprise event was over. The person buying the gift had to send several emails to stay on top of things. The personal shopper said they had personal business to take care of and other clients that delayed their ability to deliver the gifts at the right time. I think the person who posted all this did some digging and found other people had very unsatisfactory experience with Disney personal Shopper too. So, do some research, maybe look them up at the BBB and proceed with caution.
