I heard that uber may be cheaper than a taxi and faster than Mears. Thoughts? Experiences?

what business practices are you referring to?I don't use Uber because I'm uncomfortable with their business practices, but many people do use them. They are generally about half the price of a taxi. I would recommend looking into their business practices and deciding what you're comfortable with.

how much did you pay to use uber from disney to universal? do they charge per person?I've used Uber on several Disney trips in the past year and had nothing but good experiences.

Thank you for the link, I had not heard about many of those things before. I'll choose other means of transportation other than Uber from now on.
There is a link in post number 8 above. You can also google.what is this big deal about their business practices??? anyone?
The concierge can arrange a car for you at whatever time you need it, either requesting it the night before, or that morning.I probably won't use Uber because it is just DD and me, but are there lots of close drivers around the Disney resorts early in the morning?
We haven't used them to/from Universal yet. But a ride from Boardwalk to Contemporary, which was a $25 cab ride (plus tip) was $15 all-in with Uber.how much did you pay to use uber from disney to universal? do they charge per person?
