Anyone use TRAC phones in Disney???????????

I asked this before but got no replies. Did anyone use a TRAC phone in the parks and how was the reception between phones. My husband and I each have one.

I use mine there, too, with no trouble. And it's still "local" even though we're from IL. My sister once used her tracfone (she's from NY) and we had a hard time talking with her while we both there. But never trouble with those with tracfones from IL, or with the people back home.

Both my sons and my own work fine all over the Orlando/Kissimmee area. I have never had a problem yet.

We couldn't get any service in the state of Florida from mine. We did get some service in Georgia, but not all over, not much in Tennessee, but it worked in Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and the Carolinas. Its worked when I took it to Washington DC and Chicago. My brother's worked out in New Mexico, but not in Maine.

I'm actually going to switch from my Tracfone to a Cingular Go Phone, because I have had problems with service when I travel and thats the only reason I have the dumb thing.

I wanted to add that my sister had a different model of tracfone then we did. The nokia 1100 works well there. We'll be going again (8 weeks!) and I'll be able to let you know if the Motorola c155 works well, too.

We are seriously contemplating getting Trac phones (one each for DH and me) because we just don't talk much on a cell. My question - do you get charged for INCOMING calls as well? I've found answers to all my questions except this one. Thanks!

Yes. Incoming calls count against your minutes.

But incoming text messages don't cost anything, at least on the Nokia 1100's and Motorola C155's.
