Anyone use the Spa at SSR???

Hey guys,

Has anyone had experience with the spa at SSR? My Disney guide book says it is rated one of the best in the world. Must be pretty good.

Tell me you experience. What did you have done? How much was it?

Wish I were there right now!

Very nice. My SIL and I both had a massage on one trip. Then my husband had one on another trip. They have a great exercise room, but hot tub.

I had a pedicure last October. With the DVC discount it was about $50.

If you go into Saratoga Springs Spa, you can download a brochure showing all their services and prices. DVC members get a 20% discount off some of the services.

I had two massages after marathon weekend. I did the Geyser Springs Hydrotherapy massage (wish I could that at home ) and then I had the Swedish Massage.

Both lasted about 50 minutes and were great! Total cost (with DVC discount) was roughly $160.

My first ever facial was at SSR spa in November so I had no basis for comparison...have since had one at another resort and now I can tell you SSR was great! I had the aromatherapy one at SSR and it was very calming and my skin felt and looked wonderful...There were 6 of us staying in a GV at OKW and we all got the nice DVC discount on our spa services, evn tho I am the only member. Significant savings!!!

The Spa facilities are great. The first time I used it was when prior to SSR construction. I was staying at Riverside and they said we could us it. At that time I was surprized of it's existance. Prior to SSR opening they would permit cast members to join. I think a cast member told me once SSR opened they no longer let cast members use the spa unless they are staying at a DVC resort.
