Anyone use the Podee bottle feeding system?

How did it go for you?

If you are unfamiliar w/ the Podee bottle, here is their website:

I just tried it out on my dd for dinner. She wanted NO part of it. I bottle feed her exclusively, w/ Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles (excellent, btw-she has spit up once in 6 months ) but recently I am feeling like I am getting carpel tunnel from the way I am holding the bottle while I feed her --That and probably spending too much time on the Dis! But if I can get at least one bottle a day in w/ this, maybe it will help my wrist!

I think she may have been too hungry to try something new out at dinner tonight, and the nipple was latex and she is used to silicone.

I just ran out and bought some Dr. Brown's standard nipples and it fits the neck of the podee. So we will try again at her bedtime feeding tonight or tomorrow afternoon.

I am just curious if any other mom's or dads are familiar w/ these and if they have any advice for us to adjusting my dd to it.

sorry, no experience with the Podee system.........but I did use Dr. Browns for both of my boys and I LOVE LOVE LOVED them. They are truly great bottles, and my vote is to not "rock the boat". Stick with the Dr. Browns and pop some Tylenol for your sore arms! good luck!!

Hey, we too use the Dr. Brown's bottles. The standard nipple does fit the Podee. We did not have any luck with the Podee system. There was too much air in the lines and the babies (triplets) hated it. None of the 3 would have anything to do with it. We found out that simply propping the bottles in their mouths worked better than anything else. Hope that helps!

I work in the infants department (at a retail store), and we have the following item for sale. I don't know of anyone that has used it, but maybe something like this would keep your arm from getting so sore.

My triplets wouldn't use the Podees either. Too much air and they all had reflux= a bad combo! We propped the bottles too.

DsnyGrl, how old are your trio? My BBG turned 5 in June. My DH and I are both from Alabama (B'ham and Athens) and graduated from 'Bama. I saw on the Twin, Triplet, Quad post you are an Auburn fan , so I just had to say ROLL TIDE! See ya in T'town this year!
