Anyone use sell my timeshare now?

I had the same experience. $1,500 closing costs. Their response to me when I asked about it was, "that's what everyone charges... just lower your price $1500." i was like ehhh... that's not what anyone charges actually.
Wow, thats alot!! I am not using them.. I found contract with Fidelity.... so happy about that..

I have been looking for a specific resort and use year to add on. Are there any brokers that will look for you and notify you when something comes along, or is searching all of the many resales the only way?
Thanks in advance :)
You have to sign up for the emails... sign up for Fidelity, timeshare store, dvc resales and dvc magic and theres one more I am forgetting, so far I love working with Bonnie at fidelity..... they show up there first and sometimes they are gone before they make it to website.... my latest one was that way, i offered within 2 hours of it being emailed to me.

Searched here for "fidelity" reviews after reading some negative comments elsewhere as to administrative costs and slower than usual processing time. Appears that consensus here is Bonnie from Fidelity is reliable. Good to hear!

Have dealt with timeshare store & Shontell Crawford in the past, but they've only had bigger contracts available. Would deal with both again.

Not happy with my recent bidding process with two other agencies recently. I'm a long-time DVC member & a realtor. Don't appreciate the hard-push to overbid the asking price per point in order to obtain a contract. :rolleyes1

Interesting, about the overbidding issue... I didn't have that yet, but I find it strange how the pricing differs.... fidelity seems priced lower in general. Lots others priced high.....

I actually have concerns as to contract I'm bidding on with them. Their lower price caught the DHs eye, waiting for seller to accept a small one that I'm afraid may be taken back. Had to control myself not to bid a bit more lol. Will post details on ROFR thread if/when it starts to fly.

Well, good luck. I decided to go with 2 smaller contracts vs. 1 large to have booking priority at 2 vs. one... but all the comments on here plus the high closing cost of 1500 scared me off of working with them anyway.. so good luck...

The way to go, i have the 11 months @ three - yea!

That is a very large closing fee, my quote was nowhere near that even if factoring in upcoming year's dues. Must've been a big contract

Quoted costs at SMTSN on a 2@160 AKV "two-fer" contract was $898 closing, $150 DVC transfer fee, $295 Admin fee. If you figure about $700 quoted elsewhere for a similar size contract it's about a $2.00 per point addition. We decided not to pursue this contract(s) for other reasons. I will say the person who responded has been extremely (like less than 5 mins) responsive to my email communications. He also, when asked spoke reasonably fluent DVC, at least via email.
