We have a sams membership and were encorraged to upgrade to the plus for the coupons ect. Anyone here done that? Dis you save money?
We did it only because they offered it at a discounted price, and with the plus membership you get an extra year free on an extended warranty so the extra cost was a wash (I was planning to purchase a 3-year warranty anyway).

I have been a business member with Sam's for over 15yrs. Now I also get at least 7% cash back with Sam's and Walmart on everything I buy online. Like an idiot I bought the Plus Membership last year and it only pays 1%. With 7% I average around a $100 a month cash back. Not sure I can post the link here but if you would like to know I can share it.I upgraded once to the plus membership. It was NOT worth it. Coupons were not on the foods I use. Sometimes the savings didn't show up in the ticket either. I shop Sam's regularly but only with the $40 membership.
I am a 11 year costco member. Went to Executive membership - had 3 kids.
I just enrolled in the Amex Costco card program where I get 3% on gas and a EXTRA FREE 1 year warranty on all eletronic purchases at costco.
I normally get back a few hundred a year and costco send monthly coupon books no matter what
