Anyone use MS for Dining PS's

Just wondering if any of you call MS for dining PS's? Are they helpful about it? How about getting the hard ones (ie Cindys Breakfast)? Better to call WDW-DINE or can MS pull something like that off?

I've used MS for PS with no problem. CRT may be tough because DVC MS doesn't open until 9:00 and the PS's start at 7:00 at WDW-DINE and are gone in a couple minutes. I've never heard that DVC has some special "pull" to get hard-to-get PS's.

You can use MS for anything except the hard to get ressies that require you call as soon as you can in the morning (don't use MS for Cindy's).

We used MS via email very effectively for our PS's in December - but they now ask that you call rather than use email.

We use them for all of the PS for our visits. It is nice to get a print out at check in of the arrangements that have been made.

I have used MS for priority seating and it worked well. Plus no long distance charges! Of course, for Cindy's you have to call wdw-dine...and even doing that on 2 phones daily starting at 6:55am, we were still unable to get ressies for our upcoming May trip

I did ask MS if they ever had any luck getting a PS time for Cindy's. She said she knows it happened once, because the operator stood up and announced it to the room, and all the other MS phone operators cheered wildly... pretty rare event!

Have any of you made PS's thru MS lately? I tried twice in the last 60 days within my window to do so and was referred to CR. The explanation was that they had a hard accomodating the requests and that it took a lot of time to sync the members request with the availability and confirm. I was a little taken aback as all have been easily met in the past. I posted a message on this site and the responses were more on the side of MS, like I was taking up too much time. This had been a nice feature for me that I used once yearly. I also make my ressies for stays thru e-mail which doesn't tie up the phone lines to MS.
