just not sure if I should order regular size or go by landsend size charts which tells me to order down a size. Anyone have experience with landsend uniform?

I have used Land End for my son's uniforms since Kindergarten. The quality is much better than anything else I have used, whether it might be Izod from Penneys, French Toast or the inexpensive brands at Walmart. There is very little shrinkage, and the colors stay nice through many washings. He outgrows the uniform shirts long before they wear out. I think the sizes run about the same as any other.

I know that the women's clothing seems to run a little big, or maybe just can be the styling compared to other brands in stores.

I too have used Lands End uniforms for years for three kids. The shirt quality is great. My ds has put holes in pants since day one, but he is very hard on clothing. My dd's have never worn anything out. Anyway, to answer your question, I think that the shirts tend to run on the small side.

Hello! I dont see if it says if this is for you or children but I had to order landsend uniforms for myself when I worked for chase we had to order Landsend and I would say for the most part the buttondown and sweaters ran small. Plus once you washed them they shrunk. I dont have experience with the childrens clothing though. Good luck!

We just received the uniform pieces we ordered for DD (5.5). We ordered a size smaller than she normally wears (we used the sizing charts to find the right Lands End size), and found that the shirts and pants were still a bit big on her (wearable, but a little loose). YMMV, of course.

(Also, FWIW, there are a lot of lands end free shipping codes out there right now. One I received is Promotion Code AUG18 and the PIN 00001792.)

I rely on Lands End for my kids school uniforms and I would say that the pants tend to run a little bit bigger in the waist. But just make sure you have the adjustable elastic in the waist and you should be fine. Our school requires any pants with belt loops to have the child wear a belt. Yep, it's a real treat getting your kindergartner used to quickly un-buckling a belt for a potty break!!!!

The 'regular' shirts - soft cotton - have shrunk a little but the mesh ones did not. The cotton sweaters have shrunk a bit, but I wash them in the washer and not ever on delicate. These are school clothes - they get dirty. Nothing goes on delicate for these kids!!! :rotfl:

Honestly I buy all the kids school uniforms from lands end. Great quality, good prices. Check out the Overstock area on their website, you can usually find good deals too. :thumbsup2
