Anyone use Expedia for Disneyworld Resorts?

I have been trying to get reservations through Disney for 1/16-1/19 and they are not showing availability but I just checked Expedia and they have some rooms at PC and all of the All Stars. Has anyone every used Expedia instead of calling Disney directly?

We used Expedia for our first WDW trip. They were the only place I could find PO-FQ with the MKC discount so I went with them. I was a little nervous but it all worked our perfectly. No problems. If they have the room you want and you can't get it with Disney directly I say go ahead and book with Expedia.

We booked our 2002 trip through Expedia and had no problems at all. I was a little nervous because we had only used CRO before. But, check in went smoothly (even got an upgrade!) and our stay was great! The only reason I probably would not use them again is that you have no choice but to purchase a length of stay pass. We drive to WDW, so we don't normally go to the parks on our arrival day (too late) or our departure day (too early). It just works out cheaper for us to buy a hopper for just the number of days we need. However, if Expedia were the only way I could get the resort I wanted, I would probably go for it!

Just a correction from a previous poster, you do not need to buy park tix to get a Disney resort room through Expedia. You can get room-only ...

We used Expedia for this upcoming trip. Got a room only reservation. We always use expedia for Disneyland too. They seem to have good rates for Disney hotels if you can catch them, since they change often. When I called them with a question they told me they had already faxed my info. to Wilderness Lodge. I trust them completely.
