I booked my two night stay at HRH through Expedia.com(great rate!) and I am curious if any of you who have booked through them received a comfirmation from the hotel/Expedia.com? I received a e-mail(deleted on accident, big DUH! for me) but would like something in my hand from either company when checking in just in case I exprience Murphy's Law.

You might be able to go to Expedia.com and print out a receipt. If you log on with your username and password, you can get a history of your bookings, I believe. I haven't used Expedia in a while, so I don't recall how to do it.

The one thing about Expedia, is they get their discount rooms from Travelscape.com (which is actually a subsidiary of Expedia, but a different company none the less).

I've heard of some folks have trouble with such reservations, in particular finger-pointing between Expedia and Travelscape, and I would have personally recommended just booking directly with Travelscape to avoid Expedia as the middle-man in this case.

You will not get a confirmation. Just log on to Expedia, and print out your confirmation!

I just got back from a 5 night stay at HRH booked through expedia. I had no problems at all. I had printed out my receipt for back up but all I had to do was say my name at the desk. Have a great trip.

Thanks everyone for the info. I was able to print out my receipt and I am thinking of calling HRH just to double check. I worry too much

I am a firm believer that Murphy's Law is out to get me! :jester: :p

Spaceman Spiff, I can relate I worry about everything also. I had originally made my reservations thru Loews Hotels online but I never got a confirmation in writing, I then called (after 3 weeks) and I was told that unless you request a written confirmation you won't get one, so I did and they mailed it to me within days! From a fellow Worrier! LOL!
