Anyone use Economy Bookings?

I found a Corolla for $15.53/day plus tax. The total price is $258 from Sun eve to Sat noon. Taxes are more than the car. I called and she tried to tell me the $15.53 is just the first day; reg price after that but couldn't tell me what those prices are?? Really??

There are various taxes and fees that make up that price. I recently had an Economy rental. My experience was fine and it fit my expectations. But I can see how others would be turned off. The line was pretty long, lots of upselling, shuttle to an offsite location, you know, all that stuff that turn people off.
