I went to a great Hero Arts class over memorial day weekend and got to play around with these markers. I bought about 10... as well as the special Neenah paper, but they are really pricey at $6.50 each at my LSS. I am wondering if you know a place to buy them online cheaper? Or if you have any favorite websites? I have been watching you tube videos and the gal sitting next to me in the class had an entire suitcase FULL of markers--2 big shoebox containers full--wow! She shared a few blogs and sites she frequently visits with me. any advice is appreciated.

I have looked at them, but have not taken the pungle yet. I love the look of those paired with the 3D gel...awesome!

I would love to go to that sort of class. but live to far up-north in WI.

What I have decided is those copic markers are great,,,, But... Having only so much spendable income have chosen to use the pens that our area shops carry.

I think if I would have a very special project maybe would get copic. But only the colors I would need.

Those people who have all the colors are just very lucky they have the income.

I have printed out a pdf of all the brand name colors(search for them) from the companies so when I go to the scrapbook store I know what I have and what I need. It saves the budget.

Love Youtube. but I am into mini books.:goodvibes

I've never bought Copic Markers before but I do know that ScrapbookPal.com does carry them now for $4.87 a piece and they offer free shipping on orders over $25. I've bought from them numerous times and they have great service. I would love to start using the markers but they're too pricey for me now. In the past I was picking up Prisma Markers a few at a time from M's and ACM. Seem to be ok for stamped image coloring. The price that SBP is offering tho for the Copic may be close to the price of Prisma markers now.

I have used scrapbookpal.com to purchase a few. I took a card making class at Archivers that was for copic markers and learned how to use them and blend them. I would like them to have another as it is closer to my house, but I haven't seen one in a while. I have one in the basic colors (RYOBV) and would like to get some of the other shades, I love the way they flow and lay on various materials, but, yes, they are very expensive!!!

I just saw these sold in sets at Hobby Lobby this past Thursday. I'm not sure how much the set was (I was chasing DS as we went by), but you could use HL's coupons!

Looks like Hobby Lobby sells them online for $6.49 a piece. They also have 2 different 6 packs for $38.99 (equals out to $6.49 a pen).

All the Copic markers and sets are on sale at Joann.com right now. You can get free shipping if you spend $25 with promo code JOANNSHIP25.

I never realized all the great brands of scrapbooking items that Joann's sells online ... wish they carried them all in the stores.
