Anyone use an air fryer on Pillsbury canned biscuits?

Or I suppose the crescent rolls.

I have one of those smaller egg-shaped air fryers and I was kind of curious about it. I didn't want to use my toaster oven and my regular oven is not working all that well. I tried it the first time and I got some inconsistent results - either overly toasted or the center was still runny. I was thinking of maybe just doing it to the point where the surface was just right and then finishing it covered with foil where I'm not worried about charring the surface but still cooking it internally. I had to turn it over at one point, and I'm thinking maybe some air fryer sheets might help to prevent marks on the bottom.

i have not but just yesterday when i went to use a can of their crescents i saw an 'air fryer pepperoni pizza crescent' recipe on the can. i just looked-their website has some information on it.

I don’t have an air fryer, but was curious why you didn’t want to try your toaster oven. I have a countertop oven that I use for everything, including crescent rolls. I have used mine enough to know I need to adjust the temp down a few degrees and bake a minute or two less than the time on the package, but they bake perfectly. I just baked a batch for Thanksgiving.

The only time I use my regular oven is for the turkey on Thanksgiving day.

My issue is that it tends to toast a little too well. I've tried certain things and it just chars it to a crisp before the insiders are done because the ratio of toast (I think from infrared) to heat seems to be really high. Probably because the heating element is too close. But it's great if I want to toast a bagel.

However, the air fryer works well for a lot of things, but there often aren't too many instructions for how to adjust cooking time or temperature. I was thinking maybe someone had tried it before.

My first try I ended up with the first one that looked OK on the outside (other than little dots from the air fryer tray) but a wet inside, but I think I got around two that were better although a little crispier than I was going for.
