Too funny... The "Exclusivly Yours" card is one of my inventions... it was wierd for me to see that name on here. I developed that incentive program when I worked for Amex and then I left to go to grad school... Anyways too wierd. Let me tell you the issues people told our customer service dept about.
1. people occasionally had problems when they were splitting there trip between the EY card and a none amex card. I am pretty sure we fixed this issue with disney prior to my leaving, and I left over 4 years ago.
2. Some people had issues where they thought they could use the card in WDW. This is not the agreement we made with Disney. The card is good for booking packages only. Not room charges, not at the gift shops, not in the parks. You will be required to give them a regular charge card at check-in for room charges and anything you charge back to the room.
I tested and tested and tested the product and never had issues with it. Occasionally you'll get a reservationist that is not familiar with the point system on the card, just be a bit patient with them as it is not a common card to use. As long as book it all in advance and don't attempt to use the card in the parks or in your hotel you will be fine.
Oh yes, if you don't know how many points are on the card call and find out the exact amount. If you don't have enough points to cover the total amount of the package the card WILL decline. You need to have them run the card for the exact amount or less then the balance on the card. The remander can be payed for with another form of payment.
