anyone upgraded (for free) on either repo cruise?

i heard a rumor that no one's been upgraded for free on the repo cruises. any truth to that?

heck, I haven't even gotten my cabin assignment yet for a GTY 6...

I'd be happy to just know where I'll be sleeping for 2 weeks.... but, an upgrade would make the wait worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

I read that there were GTYs that got upgraded for the FL - CA sailing.

Can anyone confirm???

Did they also offer FL residents discount just before sailing to help fill the ship?

A repo cruise is a repositioning cruise through the panama canal. There was one in May and there is one more in August.

No. I know of at least one upgrade on the first repo cruise.

To what a Suite The only place for a 6 to go w/o going into a suite is a 5 and that's just location, location, location. No, me being in a cat 9 and getting upgraded to your 6 would be an awesome upgrade - but I'm not holding my breath

Just checked availability on DCL's web site and all they have are cat's: 9, 10 and 11 (last week they "even" had cat 8's available). And they are all GTY status.

when we booked the august repo, we were told there was a chance of a free upgrade. Of course we don't know yet!
