Not a concern for me at all. I am happy that AKV is our home resort. We stayed there in July, had a tremendous vacation and not a single negative experience at the resort. The concierge situation was mishandled by DVC, not AKV/AKl management.
As an ousted conceirge guest and the orignal OP for that major thread, I would not hesitate to book AKV concierge again. I had a great time there for a week in April/May and love the resort. The staff was great and I really enjoy the lounge.
going again in Sept (okay only one day) - to value studio - again.
So hoping everything will be fine.
with all my dvc stays have my dvc confirmation and give it to the front desk - then they know you are staying DVC and cuts down on alot of the confusion.
