Anyone try the WAVE at Contemporary ?

Hi all! Now that I have a trip booked again, I need to start thinking about ADRs!

My oldest is your typical teenage boy and will eat anything, but the younger one is a little pickier, so we stick to more traditional foods. He wouldn't like some of the EPCOT restaurants, etc

The Wave is new since we were there last year and the menu looks pretty good.

Anybody been there recently and what are your thoughts ?

It's so nice to be back on the DIS with a trip to plan

We ate there in November and were very plesantly suprised. Good, fresh food! One of our favorites from our trip. We'll definitley go back!

Unfortunately, the search button is disabled right now. But MickeyNicki who does live reviews while at Disney did a great write up on it when she was there earlier this month. She is going back. I'll try to find it, but if you look under the rreviews page it should be on the first couple of pages. It is titled something like "Live with MickeyNicki...will they keep these reservations.

I'll be checking back here because I've put this restaurant on our ADR list that I faxed over to the Poly..It does look interesting and the menu looks good. Plus, it's just a short monorail trip away.

We went to The Wave in December. It was a meal that was executed well, but ultimately was uninteresting. It has so much promise, but failed to deliver for us. But, we're giving it another try in April -- hopefully we'll be more wowed by it this time!

We had dinner there in August and found the food to be good. Our server was a mess, though, but we plan to try to try it again this August because the food was better than average.

I was there just last week, and I really liked it.

I had the filet which was awesome, and the a friend had the fish of the night and it was huge!

The desserts were quite good as well.

I was not blown away by our appetizer (lettuce cups), but that may have been personal taste!

I will definitely go back one day.

Just back and we also ate at the Wave. You must go, it was excellent. We had the beef tenderloin and it was so good. Everything was delicious. Our friends went last week on a different night and they really liked it too. Enjoy!!!

We ate there last September. There were four of us and I hate to say, none of us cared for our meal. We found the food to be very bland. It didn't help that the service was terrible that evening. None of the courses was served together and there was always one of us left waiting to be served.

Maybe the problem was that it had recently opened. I could overlook the service issues if the food was great, but it just wasn't good. The Wave is on our "never again" list.

We just went in early March and my dinner there was great. I had the day's sustainable fish...can't remember what fish it was...per the suggestion of the waitress. Amazing. She said it is one of the most popular dishes. Prepared so well. My hsuband was eh about his clams and pasta, but enjoyed mine as well. We had smoothies for our drinks on the basic dining plan. My DD3 loved that. Overall, we enjoyed it...and it was a last-minute change for us because we wanted an earlier dinner time...literally made the change that morning.

We really like the Wave the food was good and nice Atmosphere.
