I've seen this book before and get stuff in the mail about it. It goes into which foods are best/worst and why and science and daily food plans, brand names.

I've lost 30 pounds a really feel good except my belly. I've had 2 kids but really feel I have good muscle tone underneath. I do 100-200 crunches on the balance ball holding an 8lb weight ball no problem 3x week. It's helped a bit but all this fat is still there on my belly.

A co-worker met some guys who had the model abs at a course she went to and asked them what's their secret. They told her it's really all about diet.

Anyone try this book or any similar???? I think there's an "Abs Diet" book too.

:confused3

No, haven't tried it, heard about it though. but i fully believe what they told your friend about diet. i know that if i have any white bread or white sugar it goes straight to my belly. its really amazing actually how quickly it decides to set up camp there....but what also amazes me is when i stay away from those carbs and sugars they also decide to take a holiday from my belly. and remember fibre is always your belly's friend :)

My friend just bought this book. She said you have to eat MUFAS with every meal which means Monounsaturated fats:

Olives and olive oil
Canola oil
Nuts and nut oils (peanut, walnut)
Seeds and seed oils (sesame, flaxseed)
Grape seed oil
Soybean oil
Avocados

Here is the sassy water recipe:

2 litres water
1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
1 medicum cucumber, peeled and thinly sliced
1 medium lemon thinly sliced
12 small spearmint leaves
Combine all in a large pitcher and let flavors blend overnight. Drink the entire picture by the end of the day.

I havent tried it, am doing pretty good which what i'm doing now. But would be interested if anyone has success with this.
