Anyone tried Via Napoli yet?

There is already an overview at disneyfoodblog.com, with a link to a proper review elsewhere on the web. But have any DIS'ers tried it? It appears that Via Napoli may put a dent in Le Cellier's popularity, which would be a very good thing. It would be nice to enjoy a peaceful lunch there like I used to do before it became this ADR monster.

But more importantly, I can't wait to try Via Napoli. The pizzas look fabulous!

Just wait and see if Le Cellier goes signature next year, that'll cut down on the demand some.

Then by all means, let it go signature. It's the dining plan that ruined it, in my humble estimation, so put it in a higher bracket. The quality is on par (and exceeds in my estimation) that of the Brown Derby.

Personally I disagree with that, I don't think Le Cellier is all that, but I am not much of a beef eater. I think Brown Derby is a lot better (and easier to get into). It will be cool if they manage to dampen the demand for Le Cellier some. But I think it will take signature status to do that, not Via Napoli.

If anyone has info on how Via Napoli applies DDP to pizza orders...I don't do DDP but I'm curious.

Brown Derby hit it's apex during the early 2000s, and I used to rank it very highly. But in my most recent visits, the product was hardly worth the cost.

And that would be an apt description or Le Cellier, too. In its prime, early '00s, now priced a little too high...sounds like a signature theme park restaurant to me.
