We just returned from 4 nights there at Easter break. We did have a bit of a problem with the bus service, but the problem was handled very well. One day we were at the bus stop at 6:25 am to go to the extra hour at MK. MGM was also having early entry. Thier bus didn't come til around 7 am and ours didn't come until 7:25. (My husband flagged down the MGM bus nad asked them to radio in for a MK bus for us.) When it finally came, not everyone fit on because there was such a large crowd wanting to go to MK. THe bus driver was not pleasant and when my husband told her how long we'd been waiting, she said, "Well, that's only around 45 minutes." We missed the whole extra hour. Management was very responsive when we told them what happened. They made it right, and we didn't have any more bus issues. (And every other bus driver was great!!) The ride to MK is LONG, though.
I also found the resort to be beautiful and peaceful, but very dark (even the light bulbs in the bathroom are dim---good if you don't want to worry about how your makeup looks...) and not the bright, cheerful atmoshere that I like at other Disney resorts. The pool was not as exciting for the kids (boring slide...) as CSR, Swan, and BC. THey did have a great time doing the Hidden Mickey search!
I would say that a few days there was enough for me. I don't mean to be too negative--and I don't want to get flamed by all the AKL lovers because I DO see the appeal of the place--but I wanted to give you both the good and the bad.
