I know they did it in October but we got them last May for our trip in June. We aren't going until October this year so I have time to wait around, plus our reservations at the condo are flexible. But I am really hoping next month they will offer them again. Anyone think they will?? Steph mom to Sam 6, Megan 4, Grace 2 and baby #4 due in 12 1/2 weeks

They actually have one going on now but its not the traditional B1G1, its the SWA vacation package you have to buy and then get the free airfare. I wish they would the B1g1 on just the tickets as we need 6.

My friend is a travel agent who uses SWA and said that they should be offering it again next month... unless the way the economy is they would be too afraid of losing money. Oh well... *fingers crossed* Steph mom to Sam 6, Megan 4, Grace 2 and baby #4 due in 12 1/2 weeks

Oh that would be perfect for us if they do. Our trip is not til Oct and they should have scheduling thru atleast the first part of Oct up by then. And maybe I could snag a June trip too if they do.

That is some of the best news I've heard today!!

We'll also be going in October and if we can get B1G1 then our total airfare cost would only be around $150 for both!!

I know this isn't official, but it gives me hope!!

two questions--what fare do they base the B1G1F offer on--the advance purchase price?

Princess Dana...where in KY do you live?

A lot of times it depends on what they throw out there. Often it is not the best way to go. We actually spent more money per person last fall with the BOGO fare. Two weeks after I booked the reservation, the fare dropped 20.00 per person. I would have changed it, but, the flights I wanted were no longer available. It is not always to your best advantage to do it this way.

Madge,

I live in Munfordville, KY (it's off I-65, exit 65) about halfway between Nashville and Louisville.

I was able to book my sister and her husband last year flying out of Nashville, round trip, nonstop, into Miami for about $210 for both of them!!!

So, here's hoping for B1G1 this year also!!!

Our total was $424 for 4 tickets, ALL FEES included. It was direct from CT to Orlando. It was soo worth it. I could not find any cheaper rates at the time. I called SWA and they said they don't usually find out about sales until right before they are going to start. ALSO, to make it clear, I had to ask for it... the guy that did my booking did NOT tell me about it. I was told by friends who had just booked about the special. I am just waiting and waiting, thank goodness I still have almost 6 months to go... if they dont offer it by June I will go through priceline I think... $200 isnt bad RT but we have 5 tickets this year for us and 1 for my dad... Steph

Steph,
I found out about it via the email they send out every Tuesday.
It cost us 233.00 rt for two out of Bradley last Sept. Two weeks later it was 150. pp rt ( all taxes) out of Bradley. Which would you have preferred to pay?

I am not surprised you had to ask for it, often the agents you speak to on the phone do not have access to the internet fares, which was what this was.

If you have not already done this, sign up for it. I got 138.00 rt, all taxes, out of Bradley last Feb. It just happened to have been in the weekly newsletter that I was reading.

Dana,

what a small world it really is, I'm in Cecilia, KY. :) you may or may not know where that is, because it is smaller than Munfordville (which has the best Dairy Queen in the state!) Cecilia is off I-65, exit 84--it's between Elizabethtown and Glendale.

At this point I'll take the B1 G1 free sale or a really great rate. it will be hard to beat the $59 RT I got on SWA out of Louisville last May/June...if I can get it back around $120 I'll be happy at this point. As I said earlier, we are lucky and have several choices as far as airports go...

when does the postcard code expire? I actually got one, but SW isn't booking far enough into the fall yet.

It states the dates on the flier. Last day to use it is April 21 and it is good on flights up until Sept.8.
