We arrive Saturday between 12-2. Just wondering what most people are wearing. Not sure if I should dress my kids in pants or shorts. I have short sleeved shirts set out and they can throw on a sweater but I'm just not sure on the rest. I don't want them to be too hot or too cold.

We just got home yesterday. We wore everything from coats to shorts. Honestly, pack a bit of everything. Dress in layers, so you can shed clothing if it warms up. Hope you have a great trip!

I have family there now and they are wearing shorts in all the photos, but they mentioned it's cooler today.

It is very cold right now. Pants, sweaters and coat weather.

That said... who knows about next week! The weather right now looks reasonable every day except Thursday (right now... that could change in a moment!)

Bring things to layer! It is cold inside venues anyway.... and you will likely want a sweatshirt.

It's cooler today, my son went to school this morning and it was 70, 62 and spitting rain when school got out this afternoon. It's chilly out. You never know in florida. In the past week we have seen cold rainy weather and sunny warm weather, anywhere from 50-82 during the day. I would pack layers.

Was there monday to wednesday and was in shorts & tank tops the entire trip, never needed a sweater!

It had been much cooler earlier in the week though when a friend was there, bring some layers, the mornigns & evenings can get chilly

Sun - Tues shorts and tshirts. Woke up today and walked out with shorts and absolutely should have gone back in for jeans. But we went on to AK with the shorts and jackets. By end of day it was very chilly. Best you pack pants and short, tshirts and light jackets.

So coming from Western New York, I would just pack a bathing suit and walk around in it all day, everyday! Yayyyyy for the balmy 50 degree weather, it will be a nice change from the 6 degrees it is here today!

This is a bad question to ask without saying where you are from. When I lived in Colorado I would wear short anything above 60, but now we live in the south and there is no way I would wear shorts when it is 60.

Very true! I'm originally from upstate NY and 65+ was summer weather.

This is our 4th year in Florida and anything below 70 is coat weather and below 60 is absolutely frigid. My kids are wearing pants, long sleeve shirts and coats today at 55 degrees.

OP if you're from the North, you'll probably do just fine in t-shirts with weather in the 70s, but I'd still bring a light jacket or sweatshirt along because early mornings and nights are still pretty cool. Layers are lifesaver for Florida winters!

It's cold, plain and simple (if you're not a Northerner with hardy winter blood like I once was)! :rotfl2:

Seriously though, it changes rapidly, so shorts and t-shirts should be your bases if you wish but at least a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt would be suitable for backup--especially since it's been a teeny bit rainy lately.

I've only been in FL for 6 months, but I still need double sweatshirts the moment it goes below 60.

We are here. I'm wearing fuzzy socks and pjs :)

This is our last full day and we went to AK. We finished up early and waiting to make plans for tonight.

We wore jeans, tshirts, hoodies and should have worn more. Definitely take a towel to dry stuff off.
