anyone there now ? how are the crowds?

We leave Friday was wondering how the crowds are any if anyone has any pointers.

We just got back home Sunday and we were there for 7 nights. I didn't think the crowds were too terribly bad - I was expecting worse. It seemed to be more crowded when we left than when we got there, but it was still managable! When we were waiting for Wishes to begin on Friday night (6/17), we were talking to a CM and he said there had been 36,000 people in MK alone that day. I think most of them left after Spectromagic though!

We leave Saturday and I too am expecting the worse in crowds. We normally go the end of August when the kids down south are back in school. We have been to WDW before so I already told the kids if the crowds are way to bad to pick their favorites and we will for sure wait the lines for those. Thank goodness there is fastpass and this trip we will definately be using it.

We got back on the 14th and MK was more crowded every day we went. My tips are get there first thing in the morning for opening, know which rides you want to ride once or twice and ride ride ride until the crowds start up. Also use your fastpasses to your advantage. I'd also avoid avoid avoid the EMH at night. I don't know how EMH is for the mornings, but night was horrible. Have fun!!!!!

We got back Sat. and I didn't think the crowds were too bad, except for EE for MK on Wed 6/15. My Dsil and I took the bus to MK to take the monorail to GF spa. We got to MK about 8:10AM and I could not believe the people pouring out of buses and off the monorail into that park!! While we waited for the resort monorail (had some problem) The express monorail kept coming and it was packed every car had standing room only.

We went the next day at opening time and it was great!

We leave on Friday too!!! We are expecting it to be very crowded but it can't be that bad we are in Disney!!!(I hope!!! )
