Anyone that does MyPoints, go take a look! They changed the redemptions!

So, if you didn't know, swagbucks bought mypoints. I went to take a look at my account today and boy did they do some changing!

They redemption amounts have changed, they now have $5 gift cards up to $100 and of course they changed the amount of points needed.

They also made all of my points that were pending available and wiped out my activity history.

Ugh. Nike used to be 6550 for $50 and now it's 7040. And target was 7800 and now it's 7940.

Wow, I didn't know this. I just tried ordering a Landry's $25 card and had the same experience as above--3098 pts instead of 3520.

Be careful with the point values, it may be better to get two smaller amounts than a larger one now.

I have 2500 pending points that have gone missing. I did the Target in-store Hefty and Reynolds promotion and that transaction is no longer showing in my account.

$50 Landry's was 6850 before, I just redeemed my points one two weeks ago.

If you read my post above, the $25 are listed at 3520 but when I redeemed for it was 3098 in points that were taken. So, you can always see if redeeming for 2-$25 gift cards will get you the same result. If not you don't lose anything because 2-$25 are still 7040 points.

I've created accounts for all in my traveling party as we always are there during one of our birthday's & sometimes two of us . Definitely another thumbs up for the Landry's Select too - we typically travel around my birthday and my DS's birthday is a month after mine, so we can usually score a birthday reward too. The best part -besides the freebies- is the move to the front of the line waiting!

Just an update . . . I emailed customer service about my missing pending points, and they have been added to my account already. That was way faster than any CS response I had gotten from MyPoints in the past.

You can put your bday on hold, but it has to be used within a year or it expires. So, you can't put it on hold and then get 2 bday rewards the following year. And whatever month you choose to use as your bday, you have to use it by the 15th of the following month.

Oh! So you can actually 'defer' your birthday month? Can you make it any month you want, every year? For instance, my real birthday is in January. I can defer it in 2017 to March? But I couldn't use it this year in December unless I'd already deferred it before my birthday this past January, even if I didn't use it this year?
