Just out of curioisity.....is anyone taking up the Free Dining Offer that's becoming available to the General Public on Monday....as the UK offer finished a while back which may have been better as the exchange rate at the moment is not that great...

Will be interested to see if anyone gets a good deal with this, they look to have worked the free dining into the prices to me.
Our package booked with UK free dining cost £2,164 (incl 3 x 21 day tix)
On Disney.com with current prices $6,391 (only 3 x 10 day tix) or £4,407, more than double.
Good luck to all waiting for it.

No, I'm not tempted at all - the prices when i've looked for my trip are more than double!!

i'm booking as its a good deal for me. means i can get a cruise as well!

Good for you :thumbsup2! I know you were waiting for free dining so I'm glad it worked out ::yes::.
I have looked at it and it's still Nov/Dec. for us with the UK site. That time period has not been discounted and yet it's still well below what the US site want. I'm just hoping that if we had to cancel for any reason that in order not to have to loose so much, we would be able to amend the booking into 2010, because otherwise the UK cancelation policy is scary :scared:.

I believe that it's a good deal if you are staying at a Value Resort....

The UK offer was the best deal 40% at the Deluxe with the Free Dining is that right??

thesedays with the exchange rate its not worth booking us prices, i was hoping to do a few nights at the GF on our xmas trippy but i might have to rethink that with the $ value at the moment, way expensive.

We can never book until around April/June for the August/Sept of that year. Very frustrating losing out on offers. I passed on FD last year with US site but with the exchange rate and not driving, I think the values + FD will be a good option for us. Especially as we used most of our $2 to £1 getting cabs to Golden Corral every morning and some evenings last year!

Doing so many sums at the minute, my head is spinning!!!

What would anyone advise?

TIA

would go for just a single days base ticket to get free dinning then get a flex ticket from a uk site will work out cheaper.
Paulh

Cazbucket priced up for 2 addults and 2 teens for pop with a 1days basic MYW ticket to get free dinning it comes to $1,622 say rate $1.40 works out £1,158
so its £82 per night for room and food if booking room only, with uk its around £45 per night so food would be £37 per night you would have to factor in any outher ticket cost which you would uses for rest of stay but looks ok to me you will be getting the regular ddp and not QS so 1 TS +1 QS + 1 snack per day for less than £10 each, no brainer to me

Hi Paulh - was thinking about doing that - your brain is quicker than mine lol - we would be at Disney for 14 nights, 2 adults + 1 15 yr old - we would be ok with a 10 day ticket but prefer 14 to be safe - sorry I have just got up, forgot to put clock forward :) - which option would you recommend?

Thank You!!
Caz
