Anyone taken the Late AC flight from TO?

We leave next Friday and are getting pretty excited! We leave TO at 8:40pm and arrive in Orlando at 11:30pm - most likely around 12:30am by time we get to our first hotel HIFS - we have nothing planned for the following morning tho! I expect, even though the kids will be excited, I think they may be fast asleep upon arrival (they are 8 & 5). I've already told them that if they choose to bring on their luggage bags that they'll have to wake up and pull them, but wondering if others have landed really late and how the kids held up and how you managed to get all your luggage and sleepy (probably grumpy) kids to the car!??

Can't help you out there.... but I have the opposite problem.... we are being picked up from home around 3:15am ... flight takes off at 6:30am.... I think I'm gonna have an excited but tired family when we get there!!! Good thing we have nothing planned except a grocery stop and check in and swim at the pool home that first day!!

We have that same flight but in November. DD will be 8 and she is a night owl, who rarely sleeps more than 8 hours. We are thinking of easing in with Epcot, and catching up on our sleep when we get back to work.

We had that flight Aug 2003. DS was 12, though, and mostly wired by the trip. Our towncar driver stopped us at a convenience store, since we hadn't booked a grocery stop due to the lateness. The worst part was waiting for bell services at POR to take us to our room. However, none of that sounds like it will be an issue for you. The kids may be tired, or they may be high on the mouse. Hope for the latter, and remember that even if it's the former, you'll be there soon.
