Anyone take the AutoTrain from VA to FL?

We are thinking of taking the Autotrain down to Florida (and then driving back home). We have 2 small children, so we thought this could be more fun than riding in a car on a long trip. Does anyone have any experiences you want to share or any tips that could be helpful? Thanks!

There is a separate thread on the just the autotrain, check it out. Our experience is that we thought it was fun and kids loved it when we had the "family bedroom" but thought it was torturous when we had the regular seats. NONE of us slept the whole night in the seats.
